Meet My Friends

Meet my friends - the people who inspire me, the people who lead me closer to Christ through the use of their gifts and talents. This website isn't just about Rough 2 Rustic. It's about sharing the love of Christ with the world. These people listed here do just that in their own unique ways.
I will continue to add to this page so come back often to discover other small businesses.

Telos Art Shop - Jessica

The name for our business, Telos Design, was inspired by the Greek τέλος meaning ultimate purpose or highest end. All of creation was formed to honor and take part in Truth, Goodness, and Beauty. To give glory to its Creator and ultimately be with Him in Heaven. We are called to live for our telos.

Beauty is not the end itself; rather Telos Art Shop seeks to help you live for your telos through inspired design. With a background in architecture and design, founder Jessica Connolly combines her eye for modern design with symbols of faith to craft intentional jewelry, art, and design.

Pycnocline - Megan Altenritter

I create bleach dyed tea towels and shirts for children and adults. I feature designs that are Catholic or aquatic creatures: two things that I am very passionate about! My bleach dyeing method creates a permanent, bold design that is completely unique!

The Catholic Woodworker - Jonathan Conrad

I’m Jonathan Conrad, the Catholic Woodworker, and I make spiritual weapons built for battle.  I’m married to my dream girl, and we’ve been blessed with three boys.  I always thought it was my job to teach them how to be a man, but I think I learn more from them than they do from me.  The rosary is the weapon of our time, and it is my mission to help men around the world pray the rosary daily.  I think the reason the rosary is so powerful is because if we keep praying it, eventually it leads us to the foot of the cross.  This is where we belong, and that's why I make and sell beautiful heirloom crucifixes and home altars.  We all need a space for Christ on our calendar, in our homes, and in our hearts.
My favorite rosary right now is our St. Joseph rosary with ebony hardwood beads (pictured here). My other favorite product of ours is the Home Altar which you can find  on my website.

Daily Divine Mercy - Meredith

Meredith is a wife and a mother of 4 little ones with no. 5 due on Christmas Day. After the loss of two babies she sought consolation in the Divine Mercy Chaplet and later St. Faustina's Diary. She now strives to spread the grace associated with the Divine Mercy message and devotion on Instagram @dailydivinemercy. She prays the Divine Mercy Chaplet live daily at 3 o'clock central for the hour of Mercy. You are welcome to bring your intentions and join the daily Chaplet anytime! Jesus, we trust in you!
31Four makes modern jewelry that celebrates the beauty and mystery of our Catholic heritage. Each carefully crafted design represents a character or a chapter from the redemptive story of Christianity.

In the chaos of the day-to-day and amidst suffering great and small, we hope our jewelry can offer a delicate symbol of hope—reminding us all of who we are, where we came from and the great promise of salvation.
Jay Ross holds an MFA from the University of Central Florida. Jay and his wife Angie are Co-Founders of 31Four, Artisan Jewelry--a Catholic design and manufacturing studio based in the Orlando area. They are teaching the trade to their four children, who will be fourth generation jewelers.
