This crucifix was inspired by the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass; specifically the elevation of the Most Precious Blood of Jesus. In the Mass the Priest makes present to us the One perfect offering of Jesus, to God the Father. This crucifix envisions some of the attending angels at that moment, echoing traditional depictions of them catching the Most Precious Blood in chalices.
12 inches tall with a sawtooth hook attached to the back for convenient mounting.
Made of quarter inch birch wood.
