This crucifix was inspired by the prophecy of Isaiah; “A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse; from his roots a Branch will bear fruit.” Roses were chosen to represent the fruit here, hearkening to the song, "Lo How a Rose E’re Blooming.” The style and pattern of the roses were inspired by the Arts & Crafts movement of the late 1800’s.
12 inches tall with a sawtooth hook attached to the back for convenient mounting.
Made of quarter inch birch wood.
