Natural Verso l’alto Mountain Shadow Box/Mini Shrine

Verso l’alto means “toward the top” and was a phrase used often by Blessed Pier Georgio Frassati. He loved to hike and was often found outdoors. He wrote this phrase on the last hiking photograph taken of him before he suddenly died a month later. "Verso l'alto" became representative of Pier Giorgio's earthly life -- a constant striving to reach the summit of eternal life. 

These shadow boxes/mini shrines are a tribute to him and his quest to always seek Christ. 

They are each made of reclaimed wood and measure approximately 12x9.5 inches. Hooks can be added to the bottom for an additional $2 per hook. Just make a note at checkout that you’d like hooks added and we’ll send an invoice for the balance. 

Sawtooth hooks are attached to the back for convenient mounting.
